Precision Planetary Gearboxes

GSA planetary gearboxes are high quality, economically priced gear units, with a design life that doubles the specifications from their closest competitor. They are suitable for both continuous or intermittent operation, in applications where extremely low backlash is not fundamental. Unlike market standard gearboxes that employ nitrided gears, GS gearboxes use gears made of high strength alloy steels, carburized, case hardened and ground, offering greater reliability and longer service life. Optionally available with food grade lubrication.

GSB gearboxes improve upon the GSA design by incorporating reinforced output bearings, that more than double the output shaft's radial load capacity, while still offering great value.

GSD gearboxes improve upon the GSA design by employing significantly thicker output shafts, that allow for greater torque transmission, without breaking the bank.

GSE gearboxes improve upon the GSD design by offering a more compact and dynamic solution when high transmission ratios, that mandate two stage designs, are required.

SGM gearboxes improve on the SG design by employing 4 planet gears in the last stage. This increases torque transmission capacity but only allows ratios multiple of 4. They otherwise maintain the high precision characteristic of the SG design.

SGM gearboxes improve on the SG design by employing 6 planet gears in the last stage. This substantially increases torque transmission capacity but only allows ratios multiple of 3. They otherwise maintain the high precision characteristic of the SG design.
